FRONT OF HOUSE COORDINATOR
Michelle Castillo joined Naparima Bowl in 2013 as an usher after retiring early from her role as a Management Assistant II in the Customer Service Department of a major utility company in Trinidad and Tobago. Soon after, her dedication and passion for the arts led to her promotion as Head Usher. Viewing her role as a meaningful contribution to the arts, Michelle developed a keen interest in event management, which inspired her to pursue a Professional Certificate in Event Management from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, certified by the George Washington University School of Business.
In 2020, Michelle applied for and became the Front of House Coordinator at the Bowl, where she collaborates closely with clients, patrons, the Bowl’s team, and the usher staff. Her responsibilities include overseeing the smooth operation of all events, ensuring each client’s requirements are met, enforcing the Bowl’s policies and procedures, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for enhancing services after every event.
Michelle describes her role as rewarding and dynamic, with each event bringing new experiences. Her extensive background in customer service has equipped her to handle this position with professionalism and care, making her an invaluable part of the Naparima Bowl team.
