Mr. Keon Francis, Chief Executive Officer of the Naparima Bowl, brings over two decades of experience and dedication to the cultural arts of Trinidad and Tobago. A visionary from the village of Gasparillo, Mr. Francis is an accomplished playwright, actor, director, and author whose work has profoundly influenced both local and regional arts. His commitment to cultural preservation and innovation is reflected in his active participation in significant events like the Best Village competition and the Secondary Schools’ Drama Festival.

Each year, Mr. Francis takes a lead role in the iconic reenactment of the Canboulay Riots, a performance symbolizing his dedication to Trinidad and Tobago’s rich cultural heritage. In addition to his contributions as a director and producer, he has written and produced numerous plays for Best Village, and his award-winning short film, My Sister’s Keeper, has brought Caribbean stories to the screen. His literary achievements include his first novel, Children of the Eternal Mother, a Caribbean epic fantasy that further showcases his distinctive voice and creative talent.
