DENZEL PRIME

Denzel Eric Prime attended Mon Repo Roman Catholic Primary School, then transferred to San Fernando Boys Roman Catholic School. He completed his secondary school education at St. Benedict’s College La Romaine. Denzel was an avid singer of the Trebles Youth Choral, where he competed in SANFEST and Musical Festivals singing solos and duets.

In 2012, Prime was employed at Naparima Bowl as a stagehand and was later promoted to his current position of Assistant Stage Manager. During this time, he completed a Certificate in Theatre at the University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine Campus. He also completed a Certificate course in Theatre and Live Sound at Dian Jen Centre for Music Industry Excellence.

Prime assists in preparing the stage facilities for each client’s production, liaises with light and sound personnel in the stage setup of their equipment, assists in the recording process at load-in and load-out of clients, sets up proscenium legs and cyclorama, maintains and dismantle theatre equipment, while also maintaining inventory of stage equipment and stock in collaboration with the Stage Manager.
