LOIS LEWIS

Lois H Y Lewis is a singer, composer, musical arranger and a qualified Secondary School Music Teacher. Ms. Lewis’ abilities in the arena of musical and performing arts were developed on the Naparima Bowl’s grand stage during her formative years as a primary school student which paved the path to her teaching career in music that began in 1991.

Ms. Lewis has represented Trinidad and Tobago both regionally and internationally as a contestant in several creative-based festivals. In 1994, her very own ‘Jeunes Agape’ opened its doors to many talented young individuals. Through Jeunes Agape, these individuals have had the esteemed opportunity of discovering, cultivating and showcasing their talents therein. 

The Creative and Performing Arts is believed by Ms. Lewis to be a way to empower young people. With this vision in mind, she is committed to championing the causes which focus on these areas of pursuit. For her, Naparima Bowl stands as a beacon of light and hope in the creative sector. It must therefore be cherished and preserved so that many generations to come may experience performing on its esteemed stage.
