After a remarkable 38-year career in teaching, Avion Crooks continues to leave an indelible mark in the arts. She is an active member of the San Fernando Theatre Workshop, a gifted writer, and a passionate storyteller. Since 2017, she has served as the Chairman of Naparima Bowl (NB), guiding its legacy of cultural excellence.
Rudolph Nureyev, the renowned Russian ballet dancer and choreographer, once said, “Technique is what you fall back on when you run out of inspiration.”
Avion envisions Naparima Bowl as a haven where technique and skill are nurtured, inspiration flourishes, and creativity thrives in an environment of camaraderie, respect, and serene beauty.
